Yield: Makes 9 appetizers.

Ingredients:

  • 3 dozen asparagus spears
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper
  • 9 thin slices prosciutto
  • 12 wooden or metal skewers

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Trim the asparagus, arrange in rows of 6 spears, and poke two skewers perpendicularly through the rows. (The result will look like a raft.)
