While the milk is heating, place the egg, sugar, liqueur, and chocolate in a blender container. Blend together to chop up the chocolate bits.
When the milk is near boiling, pour it over the mixture in the blender and blend for 1 minute. This will dissolve the chocolate and cook the egg. Pour mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate until set, 20 minutes or more.
When ready to serve, remove from refrigerator and top with whipped cream or topping, then garnish as you like.
You should be able to substitute other flavor baking chips for the chocolate, such as butterscotch or peanut butter, with interesting results. Change the garnishes to suit the pudding flavor.
