Venus DeMilo Soup
Yield: 6 to 8 servings
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 16-ounce can stewed tomatoes
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 small bag frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 to 3 15- or 16-ounce cans beef broth
- 1 to 2 cups cooked orzo
Instructions:In a dutch oven brown ground beef; season to taste.
Once beef is browned, add all ingredients except orzo. Season to taste. Bring to a boil.
Add orzo and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
